Aramid vests and other aramid personal protection textiles are transported to the Fiber Brokers International, LLC location in Brent, AL where they are processed and rendered unusable in ballistic protection applications. The materials are then transported to our recycling partner where they are processed in an aramid recycling facility and returned to the market in non-ballistic related post consumer products such as gloves, brake pads, boat ropes, tire treads, etc. Uses for these aramid materials continue to be explored and developed.
